Yamraj has always been a fascinating character, much different from the rest of the Gods and Deities. This book Yamraj number 5003 presents a very unique perspective into the popular belief of Yamraj and Yamdoots as soul takes/transporters or whatever you want to call them. It’s certainly a food for thought, how this soul business works and author of the book, Mrinal Chatterjee has hit the right note.
Even though ‘The Lightening Thief’ is meant to be a Children’s book (or, young adult), I don’t see why adults can’t enjoy it. This book (and the series) is a complete package, full of entertainment, humor, good story, good characters, good pace and good writing style.
How to stop your grownup from making bad decisions is a small, humorous and light story about Nina. Well, Nina is just eleven, and she is a blogger.

‘Done with Men’ is a light, short, delightful read. It is a story of travel journalist Kairavi Krishna who is dealing with a recent breakup in the background of a long past of failed relationships. In hope of diverting her attention off the breakup, her friend and flat-mate, Baani, arranges an official trip to Goa.
I received the e-book from author. I am sorry but no matter how much I try I cannot provide much of a positive response. I read the book (somehow) and here is my review. Considering it was a self-published book, and first attempt at that I would start by saying that this review is not to discourage or disrespect the author.
At first I was pretty excited to read the book since superhero stuff has always fascinated me. Also, the blurb had my expectations raised. However, I don’t think that actual book was anywhere up to my anticipations. First of all, the name ‘faceless’ could have been a great name, if it was significant to the story in any way
“Wings of Courage” as the name suggests is a story about courage. Whose courage? Yours and mine if we really decide to juice out something from it, beautifully portrayed through the protagonist Saksham. The story is about Saksham, a fairly rich boy, just when he was about to finish his graduation, undergoes a series of incidents and finds himself struggling between his love life, his career, and the socio-political condition of India.
I would like to award this book with four stars out of five. The topic chosen by the author is a critical topic that can only be dealt with care and compassion. The story is about Hazel Grace and Augustus Waters, both victims of different kinds of cancers. The main story starts off when Hazel Grace finds a blue-eyed boy staring her throughout a Cancer Support group in the literal heart of Jesus.

‘There’s Something About You’ by Yashodhara Lal certainly makes for an entertaining, light read. The story revolves around Trish. Now, Trish is a twenty-eight year old girl, recently unemployed, overweighed, single girl, who hides behind her sarcasm to cope with the world.
There is hardly anyone who isn’t familiar with Ramayana. There have been several TV series directly or indirectly based upon the same epic storyline, and as a book too this isn’t the first effort (of course the Valmiki’s Ramayana and Tulsidas’ Ramcharit manasa were the original ones).

Who loves fat? I guess no one. “The Secret Life of Fat”, an enlightening book by Sylvia Tara answers all of our questions related to fat. After reading the book no one is going to look at fat the same way they did before. And, hopefully, the new insight into fat is going to help them a great deal. I highly recommend this book to anyone and everyone.
An Unsuitable Woman compiled by Shinie Antony is a collection of short stories, essays, poems exploring the lives of freethinking woman striving hard to find their place in a society where men decide their present and future. Coming from the pens of several renowned Indian authors the narratives are all marvellous, invoking a strong feeling in the heart of the reader—a mix of strength and fear, empathy and repulsion, calmness and anger.
